Landfill leachate
DeFraWater® designs and supplies complete systems for landfill leachate treatment. We use reverse osmosis based on "open channel technology" for waste water or MBR-Technology.
We can provide water quality of the highest standards for general use as well as high-quality pure water for special requirements, like for medical or health purposes.
DeFraWater® is certified by the latest ISO 9001-2015. We manufacture our customised plants here at Seevetal, near Hamburg, Germany.
The systems can be built in a 20- or 40-foot container ready-to-use. Alternatively, should customers wish to set up a unit in a large hall or roofed area, we can mount our systems on free-standing skids.
Containerised Leachate Plant
DeFraWater® leachate treatment units are made to fit into a 20-or 40-foot container which requires little infrastructure work for on-site installation.
The container accommodates the entire treatment plant:
- 2 stages reverse osmosis unit
- integrated cleaning process (CIP)
- tank system and
- chemical storage.
DeFraWater® designs different system capacities. We can fit a system with the capacity of up to 200m3/day raw water within a 40-foot container. The installation and commissioning of the equipment can be done within a very short time, below a week.
Skid-mounted Leachate Plant
Our free skid-mounted units are made to be installed within a hall or roofed area.
The skid-mounted unit accommodates the entire treatment plant:
- 2 or 3 stages reverse osmosis unit
- integrated cleaning process (CIP)
- tank system and
- chemical storage.
By the end of the production phase at our facility, the system is fully tested with water. Our technical team fully checks the hydraulic and electrical installation as well as the functionality of its software.
That factory acceptance test (FAT) ensures a smooth installation on site and reduces considerable potential delay during the site acceptance test (SAT), which may be caused by any electrical, hydraulic or software problems.
